This number rang me again today at 8.46 am. I ignored it. No message left and my Son is now out of Winchester Hospital, so there would have been no need for them to contact me. So the call I received today was from SCAMMERS spoofing this number. If it was genuine, the Hospital would have left a message, simple as that.
This is intriguing. 01962 825999 rand me at 11.01 am today. I ignored it and as no message left, assumed it was SCAM. I then checked the number which suggested Winchester Hospital but a possible medical SCAM. However, my Son was admitted to Winchester Hospital 2 days ago. Then, at 3.01 pm, the number rang again. I then picked up but said nothing. A female said this is Dr Chan (?). I never volunteered that my Son was an inpatient but when I told her that I had googled the number and that the advice was that the number was a possible SCAM. She said "Oh gosh" and immediately put the phone down. I think it is a pure co-incidence that she rang me when my Son was at the Hospital so on the balance of probabilities, the calls I received today were SCAM.
