They called me stating they were with car phone warehouse partnered with Vodafone and said I was eligible for an upgrade which usually when a handler calls they have all your information at hand. When I carried on the call the check the validity of the call, they asked for my name (obviously I'd given a fake name and. D.o.b) they stated the phone would be with me by Saturday (2days). Considering they didn't know my name and hadn't yet asked for my address, how would they know how long it would take to receive the phone. I'm fully aware of their operations.. search "Scammer payback" on how they manage to make things look legit. My concern is that these companies have now got my contract information but there are ways to have your personal data removed where the company searches for all your information and directly requests the companies to remove your data, which they have to comply but require a request. Said company will also keep track of your information in case companies intend reactivate your information at a later date. I hope this helps people!
