Said they were from Scottish Wimdows from a defunct policy so I knew it was a scam. Hung up when they asked me to confirm my DOB details
I fell for this scam last night they have cleaned out my account please please be aware

As previous people have said, this is a scam call - persuasive and convincing, told me that 2 direct debits had been set up on my account. I was almost convinced until she asked me for my security number, then when I refused to give it she said she would put a block on my account until I phoned back. The number appears to be the genuine Santander Milton Keynes number but on my card it’s the number to call from abroad, not UK. Phoned Santander (from another phone) and fraud dept confirmed it was a scam. Quite a tidy one though, beware!
