Took me 3 or 4 times of asking her to repeat who and what they were as couldn't speak particularly clear English. Eventually established they were telling me my insurance for television and equipment had expired. I asked what equipment and they said TV, Satellite Dish etc. etc. I said 'I don't have a satellite dish' and promptly got rid of them!

Wanted us to renew our television insurance as policy said up for renewal. We do not have any insurance for the television. Said they had our bank details and it would be £80 to cancel if we decided to. Long conversation with my husband who went along saying he had heard this morning on tv about these scams but he still stayed on the line. I kept shouting in a rough voice for my husband to finish the call and in the end they rang off.
