Gentleman with a heavy Indian accent calling from Sky about insurance renewal. Such a shame that i don't actually have a Sky subscription. Asian guy calling from Sky whose phone seems to be located in the wilds of Scotland. Really ??? A very sad attempt at a scam call, at least spoof a phone number that looks reasonable. Treat number as dangerous.

Received call this morning, but no-one spoke until an automated woman's voice said 'Goodbye'...

As previous comments. Chap with Asian accent offering to renew my SKY and TV insurance, neither of which I have.

I have only just received a call from this number. Asian guy. I couldn't understand much of what he said. John

I was called this morning (19th April) from this number by a man with an Asian accent. He said he was calling from Sky company and I needed to renew my contract with them for accidental damage to my TV and associated equipment. He claimed the company had written to me in February but I hadn't replied. I cannot recall receiving such a letter and told him so. I asked him if he had my address correctly and he told me he didn't know it but that the records department would have it. He wanted me to renew the contract and offered me 2 options stating that if I wished to cancel the contract I would have to pay a cancellation fee of £79 now. He said he already had my debit card details and wanted to know if I had changed my card in the past 3 years. I became suspicious as I cannot recall taking out a contract with Sky. I asked him to write to me with the details and I'd review the contract but he was pushing me to make a decision there and then. I thanked him and ended the call while he was still insisting I continue the conversation.

I’ve just had a call from this number too, seems they’ve got our numbers from some sort of database seen as it’s started at the same time!

Asian woman claiming to be from SKY Maintenance and that the cover on our TV was up and needed renewing. Told her to go and get a proper job and she should be ashamed of herself.... she hung up, wonder why?!
