Got a call today from 01803229900. Didnt pick up. Number coming up as a Torquay number. Caller didn't leave a voicemail. I have blocked the number.
Answered caller-who knew my first name, asked if I would like to receive a brochure on how to invest in gold bullion, told him I was not interested.
I had call from 01803221900 he said my name, but the address was wrong, how did he know my name, thats a concern that worries me....
Posh English accent. Knew my name - trying to get me to invest in something. Told him to go away.
Same as other people here. Posh man who was checking my address so he could send me something. I said I'll stop you right there, pal, what are you trying send me? He said something about Global Assets Portfolios. I said naaaah, take me off you list. He was nice enough, but our number is ex-directory and he knew my first name.
