A guy trying to say I had payments coming out of my account by direct debit from Carphone Warehouse. So I told him I don’t think so as I also told him that my partner has logged onto his app as we are a joint account, nothing on there so I said there is nothing there about Carphone Warehouse and trying his hardest so I hanged up. Then he proceeded by calling me constantly so I rang Nationwide Bank about it and the lady that works there told me they do not ringing personally if there is fraud going on, they will call you with a automatic voice call. The lady that spoke to me about this situation was very helpful and when I rang first time about this number, she said it was a fraud and suggested I should either ignore, block or talk to my network provider. So glad I rang the REAL Nationwide Bank. So please if you have this number ringing you, don’t answer it, block it or ignore it if you have to and tell Nationwide Bank about it.
Text message warning me that due to account inactivity it was about to be closed and the money moved to the Dormant Account Scheme . It gave me an 0800 number or a Swindon number to call.
