01772 348196 Negative Who called me from this phone number?

Person on the other end asked to speak to someone who wasn't me. I told them they had the wrong number, and they apologised and hung up. No idea who they were or what they wanted.

Multiple calls from this number today all within 3 hour period. No voicemail left so just ignored.

Called me 3 times in one morning, have not answered.

Man with Asian accent called saying he was from an investment company, said the company name which I had not heard of and I have now forgotten, asked if I would like to close my bank accounts and transfer my money to them, said I would get a lot more money in return from investing with them than an ISA in a normal bank. He said he had connections with Mayfair in London but it was from a Preston 01772 number. He offered to post his leaflets and forms to me if I was interested in investing with them. I said no thanks to each question. I have heard these questions before. I knew that any money I transfer to them, I would never see again.

The caller number I don't recognise on my mobile

Have been called at least 8 times by this number but I haven't picked up as I don't know who they are

after phoning me no one spoke, but approx 15 seconds later a womans voice just said goodbye then hung up.
