Claimed to be from O2 and said upgrading SIM card and needed to pass me to manager. He then said had sent me a text with security code. Text come from “Microsoft” not O2 so I hung up. He called me back 3 times from different numbers and became rude. Blocked all numbers
Based on my experience being totally different to other users here, I'm assuming this was spam. Really difficult to hear, sounded like she was in a tin can. Basically said she'd got my number from some marketing database - when I take my details off all of these - said she called regarding getting a free insulation survey done, asked for first part of postcode and what type of property. Then asked if property was terraced, etc. Then asked for my surname to 'cross reference'. I asked her to tell me what she had as it was a call out of the blue. She tried to ask me again so I told her to tell me again, she hung up. AVOID!!!!
Called claiming to be Vodafone. Entertained them for a bit and then said "I don't normally fall for scams". Caller hung up immediately
Claimed to be from O2 and that my SIM card was going to be cancelled and I would receive an upgrade through the post. I wanted them to tell me my address as I’ve recently moved. She passed me over to someone else who wanted to send me a one time pass code. I cut the call and checked with O2 who told me that they NEVER call unless the customer has contacted them first.
Pretended couldn’t hear me to keep me on phone. I hung up
called saying from sky askd how much i pay, my reply was if your sky you tell me , they hung up.
Caller had a strong Indian accent and said his name was 'Gary'. He said there was a problem with my Barclays account and i needed to confirm all my details. I immediately hung up.
Numerous calls saying they are from RSE, recorded message..
Caller said he was calling from O2, heavy Indian accent. Told him I wasn't with O2 (lie) he then said oh sorry i must have incorrect details here and ended call. Sure I'll get another one of these calls in the coming days pretending to be another network.
Claiming she was from 3 network asking what I paid on my last bill… I said she should know all that so I asked her to confirm my full name, address etc… she then told me to shut up haha. Can tell scammers a mile off!
Call from this number - claimed to be from EE. Judging by other comments would assume its a scam.
