Msg and short voicemail addressing me by my name from St Helens Hospital asking me if I wanted to continue with the msg to press any key on my phone to continue with a voicemail msg, pressed a key nothing happened.
It is the automatic reminder for the appointment line for Mersey and West Lancashire Teaching Hospitals, you cannot dial the number back. The appointment line is only open between 9am - 3pm, Monday - Friday. There is no point in ring after these hours as, no other department has access to making or cancelling appointments.

I just received a call from this number; A recorded message said it was from St Helens hospital and a second message gave a few garbled words, supposedly my name, and asked me to press any number on my keypad. I pressed a number and heard a recorded message from 'Take A Break' competitions!
Only rang three times, didn't have time to answer, called them back but it is just making a buzzing sound

I've had numerous calls and voicemail messages from this number but my phone has blocked it and says it's suspected spam so I'm unable to identify which department in the hospital it's from??
I’ve had calls from this number on my mobile & landline. When I tried to answer I was unsuccessful. I tried to ring back, just a buzz on the line. Same on land line.
