There is a recorded message stating it’s John Lewis fraud department. It asked whether it’s my account and my DOB. When I call back, it’s the same recorded message.

Automated call saying John Lewis Credit Card fraud team. It's not them I called, and it has been confirmed that my card has been compromised. Card cancelled, and a new one has been ordered

I have had around 7 calls now and voicemails. Also a text message. Saying they are John Lewis Finance. Asking about recent transactions asking me to confirm. I haven’t answered or responded. Sounds suspicious to me.

I didn't answer because I never answer if I don't know the caller. But an hour or two before, I'd had a text purporting to be from John Lewis fraud security asking about 3 purchases. One of the purchases was genuine because I checked the shop that it turned out my husband had just visited. However, because he was out I couldn't check the other two with him, so I didn't answer with the y or N reply the text was asking for. It might or might not be connected with the phone call. My husband, as the main card holder will be ringing John Lewis Finance to check.

Automated message - didn't press anything.

Said they were John Lewis Credit card. They knew my recent pending purchases including one from Zoom convert which was a subscription error now cancelled. Unfortunately I gave my date of birth. John Lewis not available on a Sunday so have frozen my card

Automated message, claiming from John Lewis Credit Card and that a fraud transaction was on the account, press 1 to continue. Sounds highly dubious
