If you are being called by Debt Collectors claiming they are working on behalf of another company you owe money to, they are not. Chances are, your creditors have got fed up with trying to contact you themselves and getting nowhere. They would of sold your debt for pennies on the pound to a THIRD PARTY COMPANY and it is now them that are attempting to chase you for the FULL AMOUNT. The thing is, your creditor and the debt collection company have NOVATED your contract WITHOUT YOUR CONSENT and legally don't have a leg to stand on. The good news continues still further. If they bought your debt from your creditor without contacting you first, to find out if you would be happy to pay them instead then joy of joys, the debt NO LONGER EXISTS because the debt collection company have paid it! I suggest you go to WH SMITHS and buy them a thank you card lol. Now contact Experian to have your credit rating adjusted.
