Call saying from Currys PC World offering me a new year promotion. Hung up straight away
Pretended to be 02, but knew straight away as I would recognise the number - so scammer
The caller claiming to be from o2 call me back from a different number. he hung up when I asked why she is calling from 2 different numbers.
Scam call. Claimed to be from O2, said they were going to give me a 30% discount on my bills until the end of my contract (I'm already out of contract) and I just need to give them a one-time code they would send to my mobile. Other than knowing I was an O2 customer the caller couldn't give me any of my personal details (eg, couldn't even tell me my name when I asked for it). Presumably they trigger O2 to sent you a real one-time code, which they then try to use to break into your account if you give it to them. Don't fall for it!
Says he was from O2, asking if I was an O2 customer.
Said they were from o2 offering me 30% discount but didn’t have my name or address or any details. Became defensive when I questioned them but sent two texts that looked like o2. Very realistic!
I never get spam calls, this number has just tried calling me and I didn't answer.
Had 4 different spam numbers phone me after my number being up on indeed and this was one of them
