I didn't even bother answering as I was on my other phone line for work reasons

A recorded message from "Gordon", my "local energy advisor".

Supposedly my local energy adviser called Gordon. Fully robotic as when I asked a question it answered with a reply that had no relevance to the question. Left if talking to itself for 10 mins until the call was cut off.

Norfolk caller received this caller, and as soon as I answered it they hung up. Thanks for previous comments - now blocked.

Answered call, there was no reply after me saying hello 3 times, then a recorded message started saying caller was a "Martin" from some energy company and that "it wasn't a cold call". The message then asked if they were speaking to the home owner. I didn't reply and they disconnected after a few seconds. We've had the same call a number of times over the past few months. Very obvious spam.

Second time this guy has called stating he was a local energy advisor. This is a totally unwanted spam call which I thought was now illegal.

Caller said goodbye as soon as I answered. Can only assume some sort of call centre!

As soon as we answered the caller said goodbye and put the phone down.
