01628 778331 Negative Who called me from this phone number?

I made an online purchase. It came up at ‘bank refused’ then I had a call from the same number as everyone else saying about fraudulent use of my card was being tried and to call another number now, which I didn’t take down, I put the phone down. I contacted my bank who informed me the number that called me wasn’t theirs (Barclays themselves said this) meanwhile the same number calling me while I was on call with Barclays so I blocked it. I also changed my password with the online company id bought something with. These scammers know how to use Barclays, know how to hack into websites that we go on to and then contact us saying they have reason to believe there was fraudulent activity on our account and make out they are Barclays. I blocked the number straight away and contacted the website.

Robotic voice pretending to be Barclays Bank, I was really having an issue with some transaction scams trying to leave my account and after I talked to Barclays fraud team. I started receiving this call and others from this scam people . So I hanged up as I knew it wasnt Barclays Bank. Be aware DONT GET SCAM!!!

Had a text from barclays to say that there was unusual activity on my account and I will receive a text from 60299 so I can reply y or n to the details it gives well well never have I ever had 19999.00 in my account let alone buy something to that amount off amazon. Anyways replying n I get a call from 01628 778331 altermated saying they were ringing for blah blah (not my name) and to press any key to continue I obviously hung up can't even get my name right will see if I get another call

I received a unknown scam call from Maidenhead useless little did they know I’m Deaf cannot hear over the phone!!! Having read some reviews : I don’t even have anything to do or have any cards with Barclay bank cards so it’s deffo fraud/Scam!

My wife had a call from this number with options to say if card used or not. I told her not to respond. Although the number might be a Barclays Fraud Team the number shown on your phone might not actually be the number they are calling from! There are ways someone can show a number which is not the one they are calling from.

Called on this number. Caller said I’d had a transaction declined on my card. Said they were from Barclays Fraud Team. Knew my DOB. Said would put me through to customer services? Surely this should be fraud team. Just very suspicious

Had a call from 01628 778331. Never banked with Barclays and don't have a Visa card so how can this be genuine? Are the previous comments stating that they've had genuine Barclays calls genuine? Are the non-genuine comments genuine or are the genuine comments non=genuine? We should be told. Genuinely.

not had a barclays account for nearly a month. been closed but still getting messges saying my card is being used of 189 for hotel rooms etc. but has no money in etc so

My bank account has been scammed on 10/08/19 I reacted promptly and my card was blocked, after that every day I got a message from Barclays to inform me about a transaction made from my card followed by a message from 60296 where they ask me to replay Y if the transactions is mine or N if is not! I didn' t replay but after I got a call from 01628778331( Sunday and Monday)! I didn't answer but call them back...there were no genuine phone numbers. Thank you

Was called twice today by 01628 778331 - automated message from Visa fraud prevention department asking me to 'press any key to continue'. I get so many fraud calls so I assumed it was a scam. However I went online and used Barclays phone number checker on their site and it reported the number as safe. Confused, so I phoned Barclays direct and went through to the fraud section - they confirmed the number is from Verified by Visa. The lady then went through my transactions and sure enough there had been a blocked attempt by somebody trying to pay online for a hotel using my card. Please phone your bank if you get called by this number - they will confirm it is GENUINE.

01628778331 is a real Barclays number. I had a failed online purchase the previous day and then a call from this number in the morning. The line was not good and we got cut off, I then called another Barclays help line number and they confirmed that the 01628778331 number is genuine and the call was just a security check as I had been using my card overseas.

coincidence or not, i got a transaction declide(barclays-visa doubt it was me doing transaction) i called official barclays customer service. While speaking to barclays ,this number called me. Some say it's scam,some say its legit. best thing is to avoid this number and call barcalys offcial customer service for any problem

It's Barclays and legit. I had one today and someone has been trying to use my card luckily was blocked.

FRAUDSTERS.. Automated call (for a "Courtney Edge",' whoever that is as never heard of them), supposedly from Barclays fraud team. I hung up and barred the number as keep getting similar calls from various "Barclays" numbers when I don't even have any accounts with them!!!

totaly scam ist will send u msg on ur mobile like someone try to use ur deb card but its declined could u confirm woth Y or N if u not when u confired will call u n ask u long card number 😂😂 when they do this just swear or hang the phone idiots
