0161 820 6243 Negative Who called me from this phone number?

They claimed to be from an energy company and offered savings on my bills. It sounded pushy and I hung up before giving any details.

This number IS NOT RELATED TO THE ENERGY SAVING TRUST. They called me back in 2025 and I told them to FRO. I contacted the ENERGY SAVING TRUST who told me that they NEVER COLD CALL and the number IS NOT PART OF THE ENERGY SAVING TRUST. THE PEOPLE ARE SCAMERS USING THE ENERGY SAVING TRUST NAME. JUST HANG UP AND REPORT THE NUMBER TO OFCOM etc

I just had a call from this number she asked if I was Mrs Gray I said no she hang up

Person called pretending to be from the Energy Saving Trust - who do not make cold calls. Wanted to send a surveyor round as apparently I qualified for Government assistance on energy saving measures. I terminated the call. Ignored that I am on the Telephone Preference Service. Reported to the Information Commissioner.

Just recieved a call from this number.English speaking woman asked for Mrs Evans.I did say I'm sorry you have the wrong number.Instead of hearing an apology.I just got the Dial Tone....RUDE !!!! Atleast when you get a phone call from another country you also get an apology and " Have a nice day " I presume it was a spam call.

I've just been called by them. From number 0161 820 6243. Nice old English lady. After a few questions regarding home ownership, ability to control own decisions, she wanted to make an arrangement for a female rep to call on me today at 2pm. Claimed to be linked to the Energy Savings Trust (which is a bona fide organisation), and to not be wanting me to change power supplier. As it felt like a cold call, I refused.
