Accent sounded Indian, it was a woman, claiming to be from O2, and that there was some kind of security issue and she needed to send me a new SIM card. I told her I was not with O2 and hung up as this was clearly some kind of scam.

Caller had a very strong asian accent. She said she was from Sky and after some preamble, most of which I could not understand because of her accent, she said she was going to halve the cost of my mobile contract for 6 months. (I do not have a mobile contract with Sky!) She asked me to confirm my mobile number. I said that as she had called me, she must know this. She then asked me for my email address so that she could send me confirmation of the offer. I said if she was from Sky, as claimed, then she should know my email address. I told her I was not going to give her any information and that I believed the call was a scam. I ended the call and blocked the number on my phone.
