Called this afternoon. First time. Said his name was Peter and he had done some work for a neighbour about 9 years ago and he had some good news for us. He has gone independent and because he's had such a good response he was offering selected clients a 30% discount. There was a lot of background noise as though he was in a call center. Hung up. Blacklisted number.
Rang, spoke to husband saying he was Dave (Asian accent) & did joinery work for us some time ago. I took phone & said we've had no joinery work done ever so obvs trying to sell something. He asked to explain saying which company he was from.He said he was talking to husband & didn't know where I had come from! Number blocked!
