Knew my name, company and address, said they were from British Gas and that they wanted to secure a new energy deal for me early as energy prices were going up. They quoted the incorrect date of when our contract expires, energy prices are going down at the moment. Did not feel the caller was genuine Looked up number and reviews say this number belongs to a scam caller.

Claimed to be from EDF - tried to give meter number as proof of who they were but failed other security questions and the hung up when challenged.

Caller told me she was from EDF & she wanted to give me my new business tariff. I said I’m not with EDF for my business & never have been so she hung up on me 🤬

another waste of time call just leave them talking to themselves its quite amusing especially Andy

Pretending to be EON telling me my energy tariff is going up and I need to speak with someone from their other team. I challenged that we are not customers with EON and they put the phone down. They are very vague and had the wrong business address for us also. Clutching at straws.
