talked so quick, hard to understand, so hung up. They rang right back asked why I'd hung up as they were not a sales call. Hung up again, and quickly blocked.
I answered but no-one spoke and the call cut off so I reckoned they were checking to see the number was live. It won't be next time as I've blocked them, but reading the other comments it's interesting to note my phone contract is up in 2 weeks? Do they know this?
Rang off. Just after 5pm. Read comments and replied in kind.
Didn't answer, but reading the other comments, it's strange how the day before I called my supplier Vodafone about an upgrade and the very next day this number called me! Coincidence?
"calling from mobile phones direct" to get a brand new phone of my choice and cheaper contracts. I said no thank you, hung up and blocked the number.
Scamming bastards tried claiming to be o2 and telling me I’m due a new phone bill at £7 a month when playing along and asking what phone I currently have and what I pay they couldn’t tell me.. baring in mind I have a new iPhone 12 and pay £70 a month for adds on so that’s proper believable it’s gone down to £7 a month?!! Jobs worths.

Scammer pretending to be Carphone Warehouse. Advising they can buy me out of my contract with Vodafone with 24 months remaining, I get a new iPhone 13 Pro Max and get to keep the existing one for free. Bulls**t
