O2 scam. They say they have a large offer for you, then ask you email address. The next step is they ask you to try log in, which will prompt O2 to send you a code, they ask you for that code, and if you give it to them, bingo, they have your account. Stay safe.
Saying they were from 3g ... apparently I'm a "loyal customer "
Asian sounding male saying he’s from O2 Claims he can more than half my contract and massive discounts on the latest phones. I replied I don’t believe he is from o2 and can he provide me with the last 4 numbers of the other phone on the same contract and give me the name of the account holder….there was a stutter and he hung up
Spam call claiming to be my phone provider, but they guessed wrong.
Sounded like a call centre. Completely unable to understand a single word said. Ended call assuming it was a scam.
Foreign call centre with multiple chatter in background. Told me he was calling from O2 and he was offering me a 230% (??) discount on my first 6 months and did that sound good?! I said yes it did. He asked me for my number and I read the member they were calling from back to them. He said that was wonderful and then asked for my contact and payment details! Clearly script reading and a scam. Blocked immediately and reported.
From your network provider. Was a very noisy call centre!
Human caller claimed to be "EE Network" offering 40% discount on devices in a very not Scottish accent (the area code is in Argyll)
Didn't get a chance to answer, but based on responses I've added to the spam/caller blocked for my network.
Answered call. A few seconds of silence then it hung up.
Claimed to be Vodafone saying my account was eligible for upgrade even though I don't have an account with them.....
Answered the call - a five second silence then it hung up - suspect it is an automated system.
