Sounds like an Indian call centre, but the number suggests otherwise. Can an overseas caller somehow hide behind a UK number?? Reads from a script, stutters and stalls when challenged. Then he composed himself and carried on with the big sell. I suggested he took my number off the list he was using, he said no, became abusive, so I told him to go forth and multply. Hopefully his boss listens to his calls and gives him a dressing down for failing to make a sale! So definitely a scam.....
Have this now blocked on the mobile phone.
Asian/Indian possibly, said from Curry’s offering a deal on mobile phone handset. Gave no information, said not interested but she carried on. Hung up. Blocked as others indicated offering deals from O2.
Lampeter isn't a hub of call centres. Sheep, yes. Call Centres, no.
Indian gentleman called claiming to be from O2. I said i'm not on O2 (which I am) - he hung up. Obviously a scam.

This call was from scammers claiming to be from EE saying I may qualify for a 30% discount off my bill for the next...

Indian guy with thick accent pretending to be from o2 and virgin media. Hung up abruptly when questioned.
