Called my answer phone, the message was similar to a Fax line call signal, that just continued on, had to disconnect the phone line to stop it.

I didn’t answer as I don’t know anyone from Lanark. Seeing as it’s already generating a number of reports in the last hour, I think it’s safe to assume it’s spam or scam.
