Recorded message "This is your bank, there have been two suspicious transactions..." Obvious scam but does anyone fall for it.

This is a genuine private subscriber number being falsely sent out as a caller-ID by 'phone spoofing - presumably as means of scam trace blocking. The subscriber whose number it is has complained to their comms provider.

How to Block This Number
On iPhone
- Open the Phone app and go to Recents
- Find the number 01543 257343 and tap the info icon (i)
- Scroll down and tap Block this Caller
- Confirm by tapping Block Contact
On Android
- Open the Phone app and tap the 3-dot menu
- Go to Call history or Recents
- Long press on 01543 257343
- Select Block number or Block/report spam
On Landline Phones
