Someone called from this phone number, claiming to be Microsoft technical support, insisting I have issues on my PC and if I didn't take action they'd block my PC. They asked me to write down my "Windows ID" to assure me it was Microsoft. DCA60-FC0A-11CF This is in fact part of the CLSID of part of the zip compression application, installed on all Windows PC - and is the same for everyone. They kept insisting if I didn't take action, I'd have to bring my PC to their office in Reading. They asked me to open my Event Viewer, to see the 'warnings' then open my Windows + R and open "www.anydesk.com". I stopped here.... this is remote desktop control software. Once installed they can take control of my PC to 'help' install software. I refused to go any further, called passed to someone else, a supervisor of sorts. They then repeated that my PC will be blocked if I don't take action, and said to me; "as you're a senior citizen.... it is important or we will block you PC" I stopped them there.... I'm 51 and work as an application developer using Microsoft products.
