Got a call from this number - claiming to be an insurance regulators. Had the same over a few days from different numbers with same story but different voices. I hope someone manages to track these people down and jail them.
Received a call from “Alex” a South African gentleman, he seemed to have in depth knowledge with regards to a car accident I was involved in six months earlier, he had tried to call me on numerous occasions, when I finally answered he was extremely persistent that I was entitled to compensation and wanted to put me through to a “solicitor” I advised I wasn’t interested, he then called back a few days later, again very persistent… I again stated I wasn’t interested, he claimed he was from “the traffic bureau” working on behalf of the ABI…
Called regarding an incident, did seem to have some knoweldge and informed me it was a legal obligation I took the call. I asked them to email details and they hung up on me.
call from 01525 608950 -south african guy claiming to be from insurance regulators???? Pause before call connected he asked my name I refused to confirm it until I had his details he said his name was Mark. I refused to confirm any of the details he was claiming to have a file in front of him with my date of birth etc. I have recently had a car accident and had lots of cold call so hung up. Tried to call the number back it just goes to recorded music no name of company etc. So presume SCAM
