I got a call today, thought it was one of them numbers that when u answer are silent then hang up... Always thought it was a test to see if the number is active, as a few days after anw9such calls I'll get Indian call centres calling me

I had a call from this number today but didn't get to the phone in time to answer. I tried to ring back but the call ended without ringing. Suspected scam. I blocked the number. I don't know anyone from this area.

Linked to a number of “loan providers” and “solar energy sellers”. Starts with this call which upon pickup drops out so they know your active then you get an Indian fake call centre who have your core details but ultimately want more. Appears to be part of an online banking scam. I went through the whole process. Utter scammers unfortunately for them it’s part of my job to engage them.

I answered and it was silent. Hung up after 7 secs just in case.
