Very bad line - said they were EE and kept just asking how my day was going when I asked what the call regarded. Looks like it's a genuine EE number but regardless, if I want to talk about my mobile phone plan, I'll contact THEM!
It is EE, but their sales team and therefore hardsell which in turn is a Scam by it's very nature. I politley advised them not to continue as I needed nothing from them, they thanked me and we both hung up. If they call again I may have to employ a tone. And let them know that I know where they work, and how to get into their building, and will next time ensure I leave a note for them... On their desk, which is two from the window, third row along from the picture of Paul at the staff Xmas party. They usually give up after that sort of thing. That or I stand up and shout accross the room at them.
Guy says he's from EE, wanting to tell or sell me stuff for being a loyal customer, terrible noise in background as if he was calling from a pub, told me to hang on at which point i hung up. Annoying!!
Called today, claimed to be from EE loyalty team. Appalling phone line, noisy background & interference not very professional! I've had contact with EE customer services and that phone line was far more clear than this one. If it is genuine EE they need to sort their phone lines.
Received calls from this number several times but when I answer they hang up. I havent tried calling back, I dont want to waste my time. Looking at previous comments it suggests the number is EE. If it is, they need to be more professional and transparent about who they are and why they are cold calling.
Had a missed call from this number today. Returned the call only to find it was a sales call from EE. Tried to sell just about every service for being such a "loyal customer"
Called my mobile and told me they were EE and then asked me to answer security questions - I refused to as they called me! Why would I share security questions with random person? - I hung up. If that was EE it was most unprofessional - if not - SCAM SCAM SCAM! I called the number back and it was a really unprofessional answer phone message saying 'this is EE' - I don't think so!!!
