Gordon is busy, called me today. Couldn’t answer my question when I asked where he had obtained my number from ( TPS Registered). You can follow up with a complaint via the TPS website.

As with the others a person calling himself Gordon saying he was an 'energy advisor'. He asked if I was the homeowner. Our line is also TPS-registered (for what that's worth).

Rang today 15.20 Said his name was Gordon a home energy advisor for my area. Asked me to confirm if I was the home owner. I said I don't discuss anything over the phone and he hung up - RUDE!

Called my mobile said his name was Gordon and he was the energy advisor for our postcode and wanted me to confirm I was still the homeowner - I replied I was not confirming anything until he told me where he got my number from? He went on to say the Government had told him I had fibre glass insulation in my loft and could I confirm this, again I said I am not confirming anything until he told me where he got my number from? he hung up!!

Someone called 'Gordon' saying he's the local energy advisor for our postcode, asking me to confirm i'm still the homeowner. I told him I was never the homeowner. He said 'Sorry we can't help you today, we won't call again'. Definite scam, he didn't know I rented and didn't know my postcode.

Male caller purporting to be a "Home Energy Advisor" - phoned twice in 2 days on my TPS registered landline number. Asked where he got number, and why was he using it? Silence and hung up.
