Called at 11.05am today asking if I was Mrs R___. I know that Mrs R_____ hasn't lived in this house for at least 18 years, is a conscientious administrator and any important or valid connections were updated as soon as she moved out. I never, for example, get post for her. Anybody who lives in the local area also knows she's moved out; it's a small community, and most of them know my phone number. Thus this must be a spam call. When I said so, the man said angrily, "Now, don't you get cheeky with me!". I hung up immediately. Rang back later, when I had recovered my temper and asked the person who answered who they were. "Renewables Scotland" was the answer, offering "free surveys to assess potential for solar energy". Obvs spam sales person as Renewables Scotland does not show up on a Google search. Avoid.
