Started off by saying was O2 customer support, offering me a discount on my bill, asked if I was the account holder as soon as I said yes, someone else jumped straight on the line asking if I was satisfied with the signal I receive with O2. When I said yes, tried to think of another way to offer me the discount. I said I get emails from O2 not calls he then said it was the offer of this week, so I asked why last week I was offered the same discount, where he replied saying he doesn’t have time for me to waste his time (they phoned me) then hung up. If this ain’t a scam I don’t know what to do as 20% off is a great deal

The guy said he is calling from O2 (which is my network) because my number was selected to get a discount. When I said I am not interested he got quite irritated and replied with: "I am not selling you something, I am offering a discount". I said I am happy paying full price and he wished me a nice day. Pretty sure, it is a scam :)
