Call from someone claiming to be from an energy company. When I replied negatively to a question the voice (female) simply started to repeat the initial spiel. Therefore, I terminated the call suspecting that it was a computerised call.
Called several times in space of only a few minutes, no response when answered definitely Spam call - also rang from 01424 707035
Called me saying they were from o2 and had an offer for me. They managed to send me a text which appeared to be from o2 but then asked for the verification code despite the text not to give it to anyone including o2 staff. Definitely a scam.
The number did come as potential Fraud, I did answer it to hear who they were. It was a foreign lady regarding something about an offer 02 are offering. couldn't really understand what she was saying, I told her to email me as it is on 02 system, and then I will listens to what she is offering. I have blocked the number
Rang off about about 5 seconds, didn't get the chance to answer, so they are getting blocked.
Called and said i was in monthly contract. with a company called all there? argued it and they hung up.
Just called now, hung up as soon as I said hello. But very loud back ground noise!
Silent upon answering. Suspected scam, then found a thousand people had looked them.up. Thanks for the comments above. Highly likely scam
Offering £5 sim only deal. Appears to be an Indian call centre but unclear who they were saying they represented.
Called from Phonehouse but the email they sent with the iPhone "promotional offer" is from [email protected] that domain doesn't exist. After confronting them, the line dropped and the manager called from 02922710246 to continue convincing this is the actual fonehouse.
Like a lot of people, no-one appeared to be on the other end so I assume it’s a cold call. One of those auto dial things.
My phone labeled it as potential fraud so I didn't answer.
They said they were from 02 & could reduce my monthly bills. Needless to say I told them I’d rather look into it myself. They were very rude back!
When I picked up the phone there was silence and then it hung up, think it's a scam
I've just had the same, only rang of about 5 seconds
Did not get to phone in time never rang long
Call didn’t come through. Tried to call back and didn’t answer
