0141 260 7142 Negative Who called me from this phone number?

Had several calls. All blocked by my security. Voice mail left but no one talks. Rang the number tonight via landline. Rang once then silence.

had google screen the call and they hung up straight away today. had a previous call from them in November saying i was with the wrong energy supplier. scam.

Said they were from Go Compare, and they had sent me an energy quote recently. I never use Go Compare !! Told them I had changed my tariff recently and said goodbye ! Suspected scam call.

Another silent call when I answered but did not say anything.

Caller said she was from energy supplier telling me I'm on variable tariff even though mine is fixed. They did say they wont sell me anything but that was not true

Said from go compare wanted to get me a cheaper energy deal. I hung up then

said she was from compare the market dot com and had all my energy company details and address, wanted to see if i was on a cheap tariff and asked if i wanted to change energy companies. She had an indian accent.

Said they were from my energy supplier Octopus. Said that we could save money by moving to Scottish Power and that they could put me through to someone to make the transfer to them. Seemed strange that a company would transfer customers to a competitor, so said I would look into it independantly and not transfer over the phone. Very polite, he didn't push the matter and call ended. They had some info about us but it wasn't 100% correct. Have contacted Octopus but be careful if they call.
