0141 236 2780 Neutral Who called me from this phone number?

Unknown caller 0141 236 2780 Glasgow, Scotland. Assuming having read the other comments my number has been passed on following a service last week at Kwik Fit!! They damaged my car, tried to coerce me into £600 of work that didn't need done and now they are passing my phone number on for marketing purposes!!! Not impressed with Kwik fit at all! Never will I use them again for anything!

Not a clue who this caller is? Don't know anyone from Glasgow

It wasn't even my car that was in at Kwik Fit. It was son's car which failed MOT. Somehow they have my number registered. Yes they needed to contact me re the [expensive] repairs etc. [which Bank of Mum&Dad paid] And like everyone else - within 24hours I had an evening 'call'. Didn't recognise the Glasgow number so didn't answer. Haven't Kwik Fit got the message yet - WE'RE NOT INTERESTED...!!!!!

Bloody Kwikfit. Didn't answer call, now I see who it was I'm glad I didn't. Who bloody calls at 8.30pm?! Won't be using them again, how dare they pass my phone number on!

I had some new tyres fitted last week and now the calls have begun. I give my number purely 100% so they can let me know hen my car was ready NOT to revive calls from marketing. I will NEVER again use Kwikfit.

was watching TV at 8pm when mobile rang. Didn't answer it as didn't recognise number, and don' know anyone in Glasgow!! I guess it was Kwikfit. Now I know why they wanted my mobile number even though I sat in reception all the time car was there!

Went for new wiper blades yesterday as the arm was completely broken, they took my number to let me know when they could get stock in, less than 24 hours later I had a missed call from Glasgow 0141 236 2780 So type it in on Google and came across this page, so glad I did because I can see from everyone else the nightmare they are having with calls from Kwik Fit! Not happy at all as I use my mobile for my business, and I will be letting Kwik Fit know about it!!!

As above, received brilliant service from Kwik Fit at the service centre and wrote duly on their web site to thank them... then during dinner last night disturbance / nuisance call fortunately did not answer it as I did not know the number..... will take this into consideration when I next need a tyre company.. might go with a private local firm next... they are not much more expensiver!!!

Had an MOT done last Thursday at.... go on, guess..... Kwikfit. I never answer unknown calls, but this site later told me who it was. Thanks!

for the past month i have been getting phone calls from the same number around 6pm everyday. When i finally answered the call, it was kwikfit asking me 3 simple questions. Should i be worried?

Bought a tyre, from kwikfit. poor service anyway.they said they needed number for receipt. Getting calls at 7pm. Out of order. Wont be using them again for certain now.

Received a message at 8.28pm was a marketing company. Number one why are they calling me at this time of the evening? Two who are they, I suppose this will not be the last gym I hear from them.

Never answered but had 2 tyres fitted 2 days ago at kwik fit so assuming it is them as that is what everyone else is saying above. Thanks for the heads up, number now blocked.

Had a tyre repaired at Kwikfit yesterday and have had 3 marketing cold calls in 24 hours including this one. Then Googling all 3 numbers Kwikfit's name appears right there in all the blogs. Arseholes.

Kwik fit . Had tracking sorted. at no timne was it explained that they would use my number for purposes other than contacting me to let me know when car was ready.

Just had MOT done. I gave my phone number for one reason, to let me know when my car was ready, not for any other purpose. I classify this as an intrusive nuisance call. I want to be able to block them forever.

had a tyre done 1 week ago with Kwik Fit, left mobile to contact me, was not asked whether I agreed to receive marketing calls, just received a call at 20:44. Blocked number and will never use Kwik Fit again .

As above - had an mot on Monday... Wednesday 8.15pm call from Scotland. MOT fine only booked it as I forgot to tax my car and picking a slot on line I knew it was booked in effortlessly the next day. Got a quote for 'issues' they recommended were 'serious' - quoted £440 for full set of break pads and discs on my 08 Audi!!!! Kerrrrrrching. Daylight robbery rebranded as kwik fit... Shame on you kwikfit rename yourself shitfit!!!!!!

Missed call. No message. Had car in KwikFit a few days ago and only gave them my number because I left my car with them. I didn't agree to any cold calling. Won't be using Kwik Fit again as I don't like their marketing tactics.

I got a missed message on my mobile from this number, after searching for it on this site and found it to be from Kwik Fit I have added it to my phone's blacklist to stop them calling again.

Same story as a few people here.. Kwik fit. Had a mot for my fiancées car, not having my number on record they took my number down for when the car was ready. I received a call from them 2 days later at 19:32

MOT at Kwik Fit Blyth yesterday - this number called me today at 18.30 - I answered it but didn't speak (as I do with all numbers I don't recognise) there was just silence - I think it is an automated system which kicks in when you speak. I have raised a coimplaint with Kwik Fit through the web site telling them to remove my details - Any more calls and I'll refer it to the data commissioner.

Yep, me too. Took my wife's car in last week. Now I'm in Portugal on holiday and I have a missed call. I will answer and say they must have the wrong number.

Had exhaust done at Kwik Fit and now getting pestered by this number. I refuse to answer it. I gave my mobile so they could contact me when it was done. Obviously it goes on to there system and automatically provided to marketing companies without my knowledge. Thanks Kwik Fit. Not only do you rip me off but I get cold calls now. Won't be going back there again.

just had MOT with Quik Fit now these calls - absolute disgrace to pass on personal details - last time I will use them BOYCOTT until they learn they cannot abuse our privacy

Same story as everyone else, got 2 new tyres from Kwik Fit, they tried to tell me i needed £200 job on the ignition even though the car is running fine. Trying to con you and flogging your number on as soon as you're out the door. "We're the boys to trust"... Hmmm...

I had a tyre replaced by kwik fit yesterday and just had a call from this number. i rejected it as I dont take calls from people I dont know. Next time, however, I'll give them a piece of my mind!

Repeatedly called between 18:50 & 20:45. Kwikfit. Only had my exhaust replaced yesterday & the annoying calls have started. I specifically told the guy on the desk yesterday that the number supplied for them to call me to let me know the car was ready was my work mobile & not to be passed on. Called in the early evening, leaving no message. I had my MOT done at Kwik Fit East Kilbride earlier this week.

Gave kwik fit our number to let them know when an MOT was done. Really annoying when they call a week later at 8.45pm for marketing purposes. It's evident the branches pass the numbers on to a central office or an agent.
