Clearly a scammer when they spoke. I said the person they were asking for no longer lived here and they hung up. Using that line or saying you are renting can get some respite.

This number has phoned a couple of times before. Never answered, let it go to answer phone. I have had a withheld number before, that turned out to be about loft insulation, and am guessing this could be the same.
