Cold call from a foreign lady asking if I was the owner of the property as she wanted to arrange a free energy survey for loft insulation. I tried very hard to find out the name of the company- response they were working for a large reputable energy provider- when pressed she blathered and would not give any names. After me telling her that i suspected she was a scammer and why should I give any information if she would not the call ended with some comments by me on her getting a proper job. I rang the number back and it went to a hiolding message that my call was important and an operator would be with me shortly', after 3 minutes of the message I was disconnected. I am with telephone preference so I should not get these calls

Phone rang - just one ring, then stopped. Checked 1471, call was from a landline in Kent. Don't know anyone there.

Rang I didn`t answer because I did not know number.Checked it out it is a Folkestone area .Don`t know anyone there. A car came around my drive minutes after the call.Suspicious .
