Rang mobile 3 times in 3 minutes left no voicemail. Simultaneously received 1 time passcode from o2 which I hadn't requested plus warning from o2 regarding scam

Think a scam. Didn't pick up the call as simultaneously received a text from My O2 with a passcode, which I had not requested!

Claimed to be from 3, I’m not with 3 and never have been. Rang me 3 times in a row so decided to pick up but When I asked where they got my number from, he hung up.
