Got a call from this number on my mobile which I rarely give out. No one answered. I thought it was because I get a poor signal so went outside but still no answer. I eventually hung up

this number has called me over 20 times today already not mentioning the previous phone calls, im soooooo sick and tired of these people and as soon as i ring them back to request them to stop hounding me i get an engaged line, how i soooo wish i could catch these fraudsters but unfortunately for me i cant do nothing, sorry for the rant but they need blocking.

I keep getting calls from this number, the first time I thought, let's see if they leave a message They didn't. So that says it all. I now juts cut them off.

Answered and an automated message said "goodbye". I presume its one of these that call you and hang up, then keep the line connected and reverse the charges. Turned my phone on and off in hopes this is enough to disconnect the line.

Been getting a couple of calls from this number so I decided to pick up just now. When I picked up the line was silent and some computer thing goes 'Goodbye' and hangs up! So I'm rather freaked.

I suspect these people are debt collectors & using the excuse of boilers & lottery to gather info on how much spare cash you have each month to Pay off your debt! I remember when a relative was struggling to keep her house from being repossessed, as she left the bank managers office, he asked if she did the lottery. When she said she did, he said she should of used the £2 each week to pay towards her mortgage! Block the number!!

I got a call today off them saying they were from the Euro millions lottery fund and I had won a competition. Please don't respond to the call.

They rang last week, trying to sell me lottery tickets for some sort of syndicate. Told them i don't buy things over the phone, said I wasn't interested, the woman kept on trying to persuade me. Had to hang up. Rung me again today, spoke yo a man who I told I wasn't interested, but he kept trying to recite his blurb. Shouted I. AM. NOT. INTERESTED. And hung up. Both times the line has been very fuzzy and hard to hear, and both people I spoke to couldn't pronounce my fairly easy to say name, so I assume they are ringing from abroad.

When I said no I put the phone down. They rang me the other week and pester a lot. Sounded like he was in a car when he rang too. Block this number.

called me today claiming to be from a euro lottery syndicate saying id entered a competition offering me 150 tickets for £9.60 a month. they new my name and address. Lady had a South African accent. hung up and blocked the number.

Calling to say won 10 free Euromillion lines...told him I was a fraud investigator and asked for company reg number and director after he tried to get my date of birth. he hung up.....fraudsters !!!!

Got a call from a lady from Bradford claiming to want to give me 150 euro lotto lines a week for £9.25 a month and if I don't win I get a full refund. They said they will not ask for personal details over the phone, ever. Then proceeded to confirm who I bank with and what my sort and account number is. So I hung up. They called back within 30 seconds persisting the genuinity of this offer and how they're number is showing up on my phone and how they have give me their names. The lady said she was Kerry Smith. But with the strength of her Indian accent, I doubt that's true. I could be wrong but it seems a bit suspect. I hung up again after explaining how i was told they wouldn't ask for bank details and such, then blatantly asked for my bank details. Again they rang, within a minute to feed me some more rubbish about this "amazing" Syndicate offer.

Getting really sick of these cold callers 12 calls yesterday 13 so far and only 18.40 today this number keeps coming up silent calls. Already registered with the TPS Have been for 7-8 months but this month alone I'm averaging 10-15 calls a day, even to the extent of abusive callers when you refuse to take part, Home & Lifestyle are most prolific. When oh when can we get our phone lines back to what they are for, contacting people we want to talk to.

I said I don't play the lotto to which he was stunned and was shocked that I do not do any form of gambling! Anyway I hung up on him.

Called saying they were from the National Lottery syndicate team and I had entered a competition on line and id won 10 free tickets for Fridays Euro Lottery, they called me by name but when I told then I did not enter any competition she said are you sure, when I said yes definitely sure she hung up.

Just had a call from this number saying I had won a competition for 100 free euro tickets a week. Although they still wanted me to pay £30 a month?? I said I don't give my bank details over the phone and I got passed to someone else who said we only want your account number and sort code, we can't do anything with them but setup a direct debit and if anything unlawful happens you can claim it back. I hung up and now they have tried ringing me back 4 times, they have now been blocked.

01274 911878 just called my wife to ask if they could speak to me. Slight language barrier, but we got the jist of the sales call. Unfortunately I run my own Heating company. I was delighted to hear that I could have a free boiler and said please send it to me and I will install it myself. They were quick to advise me that I would not be qualified to install their boiler. Really.... I install over 100 per year and dont cold call my customers... Thats 5 minutes of my life I wont get back. Just bar the number and dont get drawn in. Nothing is free...ever

Very noisy line and then a woman asked if I was Mrs (insert my manager's name here). I asked her to repeat that, she did so and then asked if this was a business number. When I said that it was, indeed, a business number, she just said 'Sorry' then put the phone down. Shame, really, as I was in the mood for a long conversation.

Got a calltoday from this number they claim to be from the National Lottery EuroMillions and told me I had won a competition I had entered 3 months ago and I would win 10 free chances on the EuroMillions she asked if I could confirm my email address however as she had my telephone number and name I queried why she did not have also my email address I became suspicious and told her I wasn't interested she then replied ok thank you bye

Rang me twice a day for the last week. I dont pick up and after reading these comments i will now block the number! through coincidence i have also recieved a few calls on my (recently new number) landline from the lottery! they knew my name which was disconcerting but i hung up straight away! the landline isnt even in my name!

This is a scam if you are pay monthly on your fone its charges u I can call on my monthly fone but when tried my friends fone which is pay and go but had 300 free mins it would not DO NOT CALL THEM BK

This number (01274911878) just called me, asking for me by name and said I had entered a competition to win 10 free tickets for Euromillions tonight. I do enter a lot of competitions but don't remember this one. She said she would be emailing me the numbers. She asked me if I play the lottery and I said no, when she asked why I said because I don't have the spare money to play it. Then she hung up!

This number has called my mobile several times in the last few days. When I've called back the number doesn't accept calls. This evening they finally got through: chap said that I had entered an on-line competition (99.9% sure that I haven't)... something to do with multiple entries into the Euromillions lottery draw this Friday, but the line was so bad, with lots of background noise, and his accent not easy to understand, that I couldn't make out the details of the competition or his name or the company's name. He obviously had my mobile number and he read out to me my postal address. He asked for my email address so that they could send me details, so I gave him my work address (they have robust defences), but when he asked for my DoB I said that that was too much info and not required just to send me an email. I started to say that besides, because the line was so bad I didn't know the company, but he got shirty: said that I was in a competition but wasn't co-operating so they would drop me and put someone else in - and he then hung up.

She tried to sell me a free boiler, I said there is no such thing as a free anything let alone a free boiler. She said the government would pay for it with a grant, The Government might spend money on all sorts of stuff but it has never spent anything on me, so I said I didn't believe her and it was a scam and hung up. She had a SouthAfrican accent and told me my old boiler is very old and I need a new one. Now strangely enough I had a plumber round to fix my boiler only a few weeks before and he had a South African accent so maybe that's where she got my info from. How else could she know my name , number and what boiler I had?

I received a call from this number on 23 June at 11.49am. I didn't answer it as I didn't recognise the number.

This number has called me around 15 times in the last few weeks, today I answered it & the caller asked for me by name, I said "What do you want?" he went on about some sort of lottery syndicate, I said "hold it right there matey, is this some kind of gambling because if it is you had better end the call now" he tried to say it was an investment & asked if I did the lottery, then I lost my rag & told him that calling people who may have had a gambling problem was about the same level as pushing drugs to school children (I may have been a bit colourful with my language) he said "don't use that language with me" I said that as I hadn't asked him to call he had the choice of whether he listened to me or hang up, he then said that he knew where I lived & read out my address, "Whoopy fekkin doo, I can't wait, do you know the way from Bradford or do you want me to give you directions?" the line went dead!

Chap called and asked (by name) to speak with my menager. When told that he was not available, and could I help or take a message, he asked 'Is this a business I have called?' When I said that this was so, he said 'Sorry about that' then put the phone down - how rude !!!

Called me this morning claiming to be from Euromillions regarding a competition I had entered online. He asked me for my email address to which I pointed out if I had entered online you would already have it so, you tell me what it is? Unsurprisingly he couldn't, told him to get lost. Number now blocked. SCAM!

So i when to the police made a report but EVERYONE ON HERE GO TO YOUR LOCAL POLICE STATION & MAKE A REPORT COS NEED MORE PPL FOR THEM TO MAKE A FULL INVESTIGATION. Man rang saying from Ecowatch - this is clearly a scam of some sort... how do we get this dealt with?

I have had this number phone me 4 times in two days now but when I answer it the line goes dead. It's starting to worry me a bit.

Got a call from this number and picked it up I stayed on the call for a few minutes then the line said goodbye and hung up. I've had three missed calls from this number now. Each time I try and call bac the line is disconnected. I want to know how they got my number as this is ridiculous. I recall this number calling me a while back too and they said they were confirming the £4000 PPI I was intitled to. I don't even have a bank account to have mis-sold PPI for goodness sake. They need to be reported immediately!

Caller keeps saying that I have won 10 free attempts on the euromillions after filling in a survey on-line. She wanted to know my email address and my password, so she could forward the prize to me. I did not oblige. If it was from an on-line survey surely she would have my email address.

Got calls everyday for over a week. When I answered never anyone there. Tried calling them back several times but call never went through. Eventually one day when I answered a person was there, said they were from Unite Lottery and new I played the National Lottery all the time. I never play the National Lottery! I asked them to never call me again then blocked their number.

I had this number call me today. I didn't answer as I was busy. Looking at your messages I think it could have been the lottery people. This is because I found out when checking my bank statement that they had set up a subscription & had gotten hold of my bank details, email address, home address, telephone number, date of birth, basically everything. I called the bank who sent me through to the fraud team who cancelled my cards & refunded me the money. Since I've been constant texts from different numbers saying they could not take the money from my account but would keep trying. Bank has said that they most likely got my banking details & personal details from a third party after buying something online. Even though you click no to this, some companies pass you on or randomly change the wording so it reads unclick if you don't want your details passed to third parties then change it again to click this button to say no to third party. Some even sell on your details before they close down & vanish making it hard to trace the origin of leaked information. I feel after your words of advice that it's the lottery they are probably calling to get be subscribed again.

Just got a call from this number , when answered advised that they where from the national lottery syndicate , didn't let them continue as I just hung up , don't answer if you spot this number calling you , if you can just block it.
