Caller said he was from PCP claims UK, however when I checked that company it was a completely different number. He had my full name and car registration and wanted me to confirm some info, when I said I wasn’t going to give any of my info to a complete stranger over the phone he hung up!

Claimed to be from D&G offering a discount on my appliances insurance. Asked for my bank details but when I queried this as I already have a direct debit with them, they claimed they needed the bank details to get the discount. Wasn’t happy with this and ended the phone call.

claimed to offer discount on Domestic & General Appliance insurance, said they were an insurance company working with D&G - but D&G is an insurance company. Wanted bank details and made spurious comments about GDPR as an excuse. Probably a scam. I hung up!
