01270 311003 Negative Who called me from this phone number?

Supposedly from Amazon about an order for £79.99. They wanted me to open up a browser to remotely access my PC to cancel the order I had not made. BEWARE total SCAM

Computer call - Telling me I'm being investigated by fraud squad,. Scam

Automated voice message saying that my national insurance number was used fraudulently, press one to speak with an investigation officer! Don’t press just hang up like I did

Dont answer this is scam number.

Caller rang, silence when I answered, just like all the other spam calls I get. So hung up & blocked (yet another) number.

It was Elton John all along ! 😊

Rang mobile didn’t answer. Left no message

From Crewe-It hung up the second I answered the call. Strange.

I have contacted the Conservative MP of the Vale of Clwyd (the constituency the company is based in) and have informed him of this with a view that he contacts them and asks them to at least vet who they sell telephone lines to

The company who owns this number are based in Ruthin in North Wales and admitted to me that they sell telephone numbers to any company under the sun and do not investigate what that company does with that telephone line. The company in question is Net-Work Internet Ltd and their telephone number is 0330 220 2280, therefore my advice is to contact them as a customer, then when you get through to someone complain and tell them to vet all applications.

Called offering contract on new iphone saying from mobiles direct. Told him ive got no interest in a new phone. He started to question why then hung up midsentence which made me think possible scam, if he was in sales and marketing they normally are persistent.

Think it is a scam number - don't answer

Call on my mobile. Female voice. Claimed to be from Carphone Warehouse. Not from Crewe you’re not. I terminated the call.

called me twice in the morning and afternoon. Very strong accent. he says he's from some marketing company.

Called my mobile, did not answer and di not leave a voicemail

Caller spoke very poor English in a very echo-ie room. Could here other voices in the background. Something about an i-phone I think but accent was terrible. Have blocked number

From Next Telecoms - I assume it's marketing. Didn't pick up when I called back.
