I didn't pick up and they left no message. So I called back, withholding my number. It was answered by a recorded message:"Thank you for calling Energy Advisor. Press 1 to speak to an advisor". Pressing 1 led to it repeating the same line. Then it said "Thank you for calling" and hung up.
Called me at work on landline. Nobody spoke.
Saying they are from 3/EE and asking about the service I am receiving from them (I'm not). They say they have a great opportunity to upgrade my service. I asked their name "Yvonne" and where they work.. as soon as I asked that question, the phone went silent and they hung up on me. DO NOT respond.
Claimed to be from Vodafone, told me my sim card would only work on 4G and they needed to send me a new 5G Sim card. Caller became confused when I said I had a 5G e-sim which was working fine, told me I needed a new sim card anyway. When I asked her to prove to me it was a legit call, she sent me a text which does show as from Vodafone and even appears in the same chat as legit texts from Vodafone - quite concerning - this could trick many people. When I asked her to confirm with me other information - e.g how long I've been with Vodafone, what other products I have with them, she panicked and hung up.
