01255879555...... claiming they help people who are in dept. Which I'm not
Hi there, I have received a number of calls from this landline. Today I answered and I was asked for by my name. Sounded like a scam. I insisted on having the full name of the caller which he was reluctant to give. Eventually he gave 'Jonathan Franklin'. He claimed to be calling from the 'NHS' and 'Public Health Department' but could not give me any further details eg is designation, departmental address etc. He then became defensive and aggressive and asked me why I was asking all these questions. I told him, because I thought he was a scammer. He admitted to this, stating yes he was a scammer and to go ahead and report him, as I said that I would. So here we are.
3 calls today - each time the caller hung up. Complete nuisance. What's the point? He's a total fake as we now know. Blocked.
Asian chap asked for a mr Becker and advised he had wrong number and he hung up
Asian man from 'Citizens Advice' about debt. He hung up on me. Had details about me, my name.....
Don’t answer any questions to anyone that calls simple now days
I just had a call from this number, he was an Asian man saying he was from the credit investigation department, when I asked a question he hung up!
Called saying I was in debt. I manage all my income properly, said it was practically impossible that I'm in debt. politely asked what company am I in debt to started getting rude not able to provide information. Slammed the phone down swearing at me 😂😂😂
Just had call from Asian sounding man asking about covid jabs then said have I got any cover or back up I said no and he said ok and put the phone down but because I had my jab yesterday at first I thought it was somebody from the hospital asking if I had any side effects of which he did ask that’s why I thought it was genuine at first but how do they get your name and number and correct details some one must be giving it to them
Wanted to send me the vaccination certificate and when I queried why as I already had it he stated my postcode and when he gave me further address details I said no and asked again why he was calling and he hung up! Is this a scam call!
Claiming to be from the NHS, had my wrong name so knew it was a scam instantly. Called him out on it. He hung up.
Asking about my Covid status then lead to insurance information - could sense it was a scam, but she was quite pleasant at first so let her speak in case it wasn’t and I always figure nobody aspires to be a cold caller so I don’t like to be rude to people. After I said I had insurance through work the woman quite aggressively pushed me to give her a number about how much I pay a month, I truthfully said I don’t know as it’s part of my work package she pushed me over and over to give her an estimate - I don’t know! Eventually I asked why exactly it was important, she said as it would be added to a letter to update me from the nhs and to receive my Covid vaccine certificates - I noted that don’t know why the NHS needs to tell me about my insurance status and I already have my vaccine certificate. At this point she got venomous, informed me she was going to put X amount and tied up the call.
Asian man just rung me and claimed that is calling from NHS and asked "have you had your both jabs?" I've asked "why should I speak to you about it? Then he abused me, told me to die and put his frustration with f words at the end and he hung up.
Said he was calling about the covid jabs and reactions. Then asked about insurance. He said he was calling from Manchester but the number is Clacton on Sea. Beware scam caller.
Just got a call from this number. Difficult to understand him. Said he worked for the NHS. Asked about my CoVID jabs etc then eventually turned the conversation to Life Insurance cover at which point, his cover had been blown. Tried to string him along for a while but he hung up on me lol - some people have no manners eh :-).
Asian man claiming to be NHS, asking about COVID vaccines then asking who my life insurance is with - no details given obviously a scam.
Just had a call from this number in Clacton at 12:17 am 15/11/21 Didn't bother answering. Number now blocked
Ignored and blocked based on the other testimonials. Thanks folks!
Do not give details, asking about life insurance. Scam!
I got this call 10mins ago, I didn't answer my phone (mobile) because I if I don't know the number and they don't leave a message, but I always check them out. I got a call last week from 01279 354437.8th November 11,05am All details as above calls An obviously Asian man calling himself "Jason" said he was from the NHS, wanted to know if I had my COVD jabs and other questions about my health, if I had life insurance, private health insurance etc. He assured me he wasn't trying to sell me anything. I told him that anyone who needed to know my health details already had them and it was none of his business so I was ending the call. I did not answer todays call , but 141'd it the number today was 01255879555 at 11.15 am,
They had all my correct information and was asking me to verify but I did because at the exact same time I got a text message from NHS so thought it might have been real. But I think it was a scam looking back but they had all the correct information for me!! Worrying.
Just had a call from this number in Clacton at 11:25am 15/11/21 Didn't bother answering.
Claiming to be from the NHS. Worryingly this will be an attempt to scam vulnerable people - just hang up and block.
An asian gentleman!! Called to discuss whether your Covid jabs are up to date and then tries to sell you life insurance. Probably just wants you to give him some confidential info. I told him quickly that I thought he was "full of S**T" and a scam and he got very abusive. Lots of F words and told me that I was going to be prosecuted for being abusive to an NHS worker and that I was abusing him. The sheer gall of these low lives is amazing. Being accused of being abusive by an individual makes a living by scamming the elderly and the gullible out of their savings is amazing.
"COVID 19 Health check line" apparently....

Claimed to be carrying out an NHS survey. So let the caller carry on where after questions on Covid-19 he then asked if I had health insurance. Finally asked me to confirm my postcode where the caller stated an address and post code in London EC that was not mine. Asked me to confirm my post code and address that I refused to give.

Constant calling, especially early evening. I have ignored the calls and started declining them, but they still call...
This call was from scammers claiming to be from EE saying I may qualify for a 30% discount off my bill for the next...
Got a text- it's from Scrumbles cat food. Link leads to their website. All good.
Indian guy with thick accent pretending to be from o2 and virgin media. Hung up abruptly when questioned.
