Man with strange accent speaking slowly said he was Eco Serve and wanted to download our inverter. When I told him we had recently had our inverter serviced he siad he hoped we hadnt paid for that , then he swore at me and said he was not going to waste his money on me and then he put the phone down. Clearly a scam of some sort.
Called and told me that my inverter needed the readeings downloaded. Told him that I did not know his company and I have a local company that I am in touch with. I put the phone down and he rang straight back Became quite rude. I rang off again. Smells like scam.
I've had two calls from this number. The man sounded very unprofessional and tried to convince me that my inverter must be inspected by law. Similar message as others had reported - should have been done years ago but for the pandemic etc. He claimed to be from a company called Eco Serve. It's clearly a scam and I imagine they would declare my inverter to be faulty (or actually break it) so that they can arrange for a new one to be fitted.
Guy with northern accent phoned and wanted to test or update my solar panel inverter. Used the company Eco Serve as others have said. All sounded very strange. No real logic to it. Couldn't work out where he was getting information from or what he was trying to get from me.....but all very odd.
Same pattern as other reports, wanted to come and survey my solar panel system and update my inverter to make it easier to read. Used the company name Ecoserve, made veiled threats about 'knowing where I lived' when I questioned him on why I would need this and implied I was too stupid to understand what he was offering...nice chap!
Gentleman with Northern accent said that we needed our solar inverter readings downloaded, and that they hadn't been done due to covid. Said we'd paid for it when we had our panels installed, etc, and that older systems didn't have bluetooth etc. (ours does though, and I download the data myself). Not sure what the angle is here. We're TPS registered too so sales calls shouldn't be allowed. Said he was Eco Serve
Gentleman with Northern accent said that we needed our solar panels inverter updating. Said his company was Eco Serve. He knew how many we had and my first name and number of our house. I could not remember a call he said we had several months ago and he seemed annoyed about that. I asked for his name and number to check out his validity. I am not sure if this is a real company so will not take him up on any work.
Called saying my inverter needed the readings checked ??? Told him to call back when my partner was home tonight. Asked for his name told him just ring he will answer…….northern accent, not that that is a problem ….something didn’t sound right. Asked if I was at same address, which he knew. Also knew my name…. Tried to call number back from my mobile just rang and rang. I’d say scam . Blocked on both phones
Man said with a very unprofessional sounding voice called and said hello is that R*** Hello love we need to come and service your solar inverter which. Should have been done before the pandemic. Are you still at ** ***** Marlow? I put the phone down as I think it must be a scam.
Claimed to be from ecoserve. Started to mumble about my inverter readings not being up to date. Claimed they fitted my panels. Called me a silly cow when I said we fitted our own panels. … we own a solar company!!! Scam and abusive.
Caller claimed to be from Ecoserve offering to quote for a service on my solar panel inverters.

Constant calling, especially early evening. I have ignored the calls and started declining them, but they still call...
This call was from scammers claiming to be from EE saying I may qualify for a 30% discount off my bill for the next...
Got a text- it's from Scrumbles cat food. Link leads to their website. All good.
Indian guy with thick accent pretending to be from o2 and virgin media. Hung up abruptly when questioned.
