As others have mentioned i filled in an online form regarding energy switch thinking it was Martin Lewis website. No message left. Number now blocked
Had about 4 missed calls today they rang first time leaving a voicemail and no one talked just heard a sniff a sigh and then 2 3 secs later voicemail ended
Fortunately my phone said was spam so far been rung 3 times. Again it appeared after looking ant Martin Lewis web site. Any company issuing these numbers to scammers should have their license revoked.
Several times daily calls. I made the mistake of going on a site which I thought was Martin lewis. Luckily I realised it wasn't & blocked the number
Said they were from Money Saving Expert but I actually did not choose the phone call option. The staff was rude and keep pushing me to switch through them. When I told them I am still considering and quoting from difference companies, then they said "even you are going to have expensive energy starting from tomorrow, you are still not going to talk to us?" Conversation atmosphere was really bad
I googled Money Saving Expert energy switch online, thinking I'd get to Martin Lewis 's site. This company's site is very similar in name and I mistakenly clicked the link to their site and entered my phone number. I then realised it wasn't Martin Lewis and after 2 calls I have blocked their number. They are immitating Martin Lewis's service to obtain your number and, because of that immitation, I wouldn't risk doing a switch through them
Phoned me at 12pm, phone identified suspected spam call so I didn't pick up.
Claims to be money expert. Always cuts the line when I answer.
Daily. Now blocked. One day it’s in regard to moneyexpert search for energy supplier. Next day, regarding British Gas account.
Similar to others reporting this number.. I was called 3x from this number after completing a Martins Money Tips questionnaire about energy tariffs. Registered as scam by my phone so did not pick up then blocked after 3rd attempt. Checked Martins money tips website which says they do not make calls or have a registered phone number to phone so my instinct to ignore was right.
Said they were from Money Saving Expert and wanted to renew my tariff before the price goes up. She asked me to confirm my details but it sounded dodgy so googled the number to find others had reported it as scam. I hung up
Rang three times m phone provider shows as spam. Answered, and met with barking passive aggressive tone and false claim of contacting them and being from energy home plus. Very dry and rude make British accent. Next call will be reported for harassment.
