Claims to be Carphone Warehouse and a scam
Indian caller claimed to be from Carphone Warehouse - hung up when challenged.
Just rang me and getting annoyed with them ringing me since already blocked this number from the location they rang from. When I answered no one spoke.
Missed call on my mobile. Understand it to be Carphone Warehouse - again!
Called me about carphone warehouse as with others — I said I couldn't hear him properly and he told me to f**k off - not going to scam me with manners like that, are you?
Didnt bother picking up but when I called again, there was an automated male voice saying “Thank you for calling ???? Energies. Please wait-“ then I ended it lmao. Defo a scam.
Called trying to upgrade my O2 account and save me money without doing anything. They sent me a security message and code from O2 but then asked me for the code, which in the first message from O2 it says not to share with anyone!
Spat out a line about uk sim energies(?). Tried to offer me a reduced price contract on an iphone x12. Then hung up when I said I had no interest.
Carphone Warehouse, allegedly, although when I politely explained I’d just started a new phone contract she hung up on me mid-sentence..!
I answered and person said it was 'Mary from Carphone Warehouse' offering limited reduced sales of mobile phones...this is likely a scam. I said I didn't need a phone and ended the call.
