Woman said she was calling from Edinburgh Research and asked 2 questions: did I own my house (yes) and if I won the voucher (which I said I wasn't interested in), would I spend it on the kitchen or bathroom (I said bathroom). She gave a short code which I didn't note as I won't be using any cold-caller's voucher!
Clyde Research. Asked I I owned my home. I said my number was registered with TPS and she apologised. Obviously illegally ignoring the TPS rules.
I suspected that it was a scam call so neither myself nor my husband answered the call. I didn't recognise the number and neither did my husband.
Called ten minutes ago. Hung up before It could go onto answer machine.
Called today from this number. Female wanted to ask questions about homeownership. I asked who the call was from and got the reply "we're just a small local research company". I started to say no thanks and she'd hung up before I got the full sentence out.
Called. No message left
Called today claiming to be Glasgow Research. I asked them who Glasgow Research were and they just hung up.
Says marketing research for area you live in. Constant calls for last 2 years. When challenged and tell them we are on TPS they apologise and say they will delete us but they never do. Be aware they are scammers.
Called. No message left.
Nuisance caller. I'm registered with TPS.
Knew my name. Wanted to ask questions. Told them I was listed with TPS. She apologised and hung up. Should be a criminal offence.
Called - no message.
Claimed to be company called Edinburgh Research. Asked for Mrs D so I said didn't live here (I'm not a Mrs and anyone I deal with would know that). Then asked if I was homeowner and said they had a couple of questions. Said I wasn't interested and they hung up before I had a chance to
