01234 945006 Neutral Who called me from this phone number?

...keep getting pestered by them just hold phone and they go away but really very boring especially when on TPS

Call from these people "UK Advice Bureau" IIRC saying someone had a car accident in the last two years. Goodbye! About time something real was done about these people. All of them.

Rang my elderly hard of hearing mother who heard the word accident and just panicked. Rang me in an awful state. These frauds should be prosecuted for harassment.

Two calls in two days - I asked from from they had received the information that I had been involved in an accident in the last two years as the voice alleged. The answer was 'from the RTA Department'. So I asked the RTA department of what, a police force? When I didn't get an answer to the question I had asked I asked (since I was beginning to suspect it) whether I was just talking to a (voice recognition) machine. The answer was 'Yes'. So I suggested they make a nuisance of themselves to someone else, like the police. At that point the voice said 'We'll take you off our list', so I suggest a similar approach - who knows it might be the right one for stopping the calls. Incidentally, if you try calling the number, there is only a sound which I assume indicates that the line does not take incoming calls - all the more evidence that it is just a machine, pestilential, but a machine. Play it at its own game!

Foreign female voice said she was calling from Nationwide and someone at my telephone number had had an accident in the last 3 years. No-one has! Actually sounded like a recorded message as there was no response to comments I made! Belong to the TPS and getting really fed up with calls of this type.
