A foreign male phone me today. Couldn't understand him well. Claimed I was in a car accident. Clearly a acam
They called and said, "hi, is this the renter?". Lots of background noise. It was clearly a nuisance phonecall, so I hung up.
Foreign female claiming to be from legal assist about fake car accident. When I said was scam call she shouted something and hung up
Car accident scam. I always attempt to keep them on the phone as long as possible, with the premise that I’m taking the call, but need time to get a break at work, so keep putting them on hold. I guess if they are wasting time with me, they have less time to try and scam other folk.
Calling about your recent car accident blah blah blah
I said Hello a few times & then the call was disconnected. Looking at the comments here wish I'd not picked up.
Calling about a “recent car accident” - clearly a scammer. Block number.
They said is O2, and i asked them is same as EE? They said Yes, they want my bank account.
This number has called a number of times, they did not speak English to too good. They said they were with O2, and I could save 40 people's, this is a spam, probably a fraud caller trying to swindle money. Their are a lot of fraudulent calls these days. The caller mentioned my name which even O2 don't know. So it will be a company either hacking people's phones, or home internet, who randomly pick numbers, and or internet connection's net-work internet Ltd. I hung up within seconds
They just laughed down the line and hang up 🤷♀️
Said was from 02. I'm not with them. I said "is this another rubbish call"? I'd already had a few earlier. He hung up.
