Used Apple screening and they refused to give name. Heard a call centre in background.

Culligan Water coolers

Started to call 1 week ago and very persistent with 2-3 calls a day. Pretending to be Culligan, I phoned the actual company as I have an account with them. They confirmed it was nothing to do with them.

He said he was calling from Culligan and claimed they wanted to send us a watercooler for free to trial the water, sounded like a scam

PHONED ASKING FOR DETAILS TO UPDATE THEIR SYSYTEM FOR OUR WATER COOLES, WE DO NOT HAVE WATER COOLERS!

Called from Culligan - tried to make me confirm contact details - couldn't give me correct address

Faking to be from a water company.. that we don't have!

They spoke in an African dialect

Reported to be from Culligan Water, for a start Culligan are not based in Aberdeen which immediately started alarm bells, had foreign accent, most definately a scam call centre abroad using VOIP to appear to be from aberdeen phishing for information - AVOID

Said they supplied out water. Lady with a terrible phone line and strong south african accent, so it was hard to understand. She wanted to 'update' the contact information for the invoices/accounts, but she couldn't say who the previous contact was. We don't have any water supplied other than local utilities.

Looking to confirm invoice information. Claimed to be from Culligan and that they supplied our water coolers. We don't have any.

They just rang to say they are confirming our account details and wanted a named person. When I tried to verify who they were she couldn't share the info for me to be satisfied that they are who they say they are. BLOCKED!

They said they were from Culligan and wanted updated details, we had recently cancelled our Culligan water cooler and explained I would not need to give this information. She kept pushing for it so I hung up

Foreign sounding lady called - claimed to be from Culligan calling to 'confirm our details' - told her if she had our details nothing had changed would not be providing them over the phone as I have no idea she is who she claims to be.

called for about 5 seconds then stopped. Called the number provided on answering machine to no avail. claims to be culligan water systems.
