Claimed to be from Vodafone offering and upgrade. Said I was on SIM only, they then asked how much I was paying so I told them they should know this if they were genuine. Hung up and blocked.
called almost simultaneously my mobile and then lanline
First clue is when after you have answered the call, there is a delay and suddenly a noisy operator starts talking without checking who you are. In this case the operator had a VERY heavy Chinese accent, I actually could not understand what she was saying and asked her to repeat what ever she was saying, she did this and I then told her that if she wanted to scam English people, she should learn to speak our language first, I then hung up. Must admit I do enjoy dealing with scam calls, - its a great opportunity to waste their time and thus stop them ripping someone else off.
My Samsung phone always comes up with Potential Fraud by the phone number so I don't answer them but always make a note of the number and look it up.
They hung up on me after I told them to go fuck themselves and their granny
Foreign sounding woman offering deal on phone ... Scam, hang up
Almost got caught out by this scammer...Worried I gave out too much details though...Too good a deal being offered...Should always question when something seems to good to be true...Contacted Curry/PC world and they informed me that it was a scam and I was the fifth caller to contact them that morning.
Do not answer, person said they were from Curry’s PC world offering a phone deal on the latest phone yet couldn’t provide details on it🤣🤣🤣 Absolute scam, please be careful
Caller said they were offering a deal from EE but it's not the normal customer service number.
